Kay’s Gouda Stuffed Cheeseburgers

Kay’s Gouda Stuffed Cheeseburgers

These burgers are perfect for your 4th of July cookout or any cookout you are having this summer!  I made these for dinner Monday night for the first time and Jake loved them! We hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Ingredients:

1 lb of Kay’s FarmStand Ground Beef

1 block of Jake’s Gouda (from Kay’s FarmStand) sliced

1 egg

1/4 cup Italian Bread Crumbs

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

dash of salt and pepper

toppings: Kay’s FarmStand lettuce and your favorite burger toppings :)

Directions:

  1. Put ground beef in medium size bowl

  2. Put egg, onion powder, garlic powder, bread crumbs, salt, pepper all in bowl and mix together with your hands

  3. Time to form the burgers, form the ground beef mixture into burger shape. Take a sliced of gouda and place it in the middle of the burger and fold the ground beef around it. Make sure the piece of cheese is full covered by the ground beef. Then form back into a burger form.

  4. Heat up the grill

  5. Place the burgers on the grill and cook one side

  6. When ready to flip, flip burger and place a few more slices of cheese on each burger *I grew up on a dairy farm so you can never have too much cheese:)

  7. When finish assemble your burger to your liking

  8. Enjoy!
